Washington State's Response to an Invasion of Non-native Tunicates
(February 2007) This report provides an update to the governor and legislature on the progress to stop invasive tunicates from spreading in Puget Sound, as well as efforts to eradicate existing populations.

A report recommends that shellfish growers use vinegar to kill tunicates that foul mussel lines and shellfish gear. The author also says that a concerted effort could eliminate non-native club tunicates found currently in three Puget Sound locations.
